- Strong outgoing current runs west to east through the channel between the thila and the reef; suitable only for experienced divers.
- Marine life
- A focal point for eagle rays, dogtooth tuna, bluefin trevally and loose groups of grey reef sharks (sometimes 50+ in favorable current); also whitetip sharks and green turtles. A shark cleaning station is the site's main attraction.
